The
Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit (3 South) at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center provides specialized care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post‑coronary interventions, post‑ablation care, and myocardial infarctions. The unit also manages pre‑ and post‑catheterization patients, as well as those experiencing acute stroke.
This 24‑bed unit cares for patients with higher acuity than a typical medical‑surgical unit. 3 South provides an exciting opportunity for nurses seeking growth in a dynamic, high‑acuity environment. As part of a certified stroke center and a Magnet‑designated organization recognized for excellence in patient care, Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center offers a collaborative setting where nurses can thrive and advance their expertise in cardiac care.
