Registered Nurse Medical Telemetry Flexi Pool

Location: Williamsburg, VA

Shift: Third (Nights) 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., rotating weekends

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Telemetry unit. The role involves educating patients and families, monitoring vital signs, observing changes, responding with appropriate interventions, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Monitor and record vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions.
• Respond promptly with appropriate interventions using sound clinical judgment.
• Consult with medical team members as needed and coordinate care.
• Document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred; degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
• Registered Nursing license required; students completing a nursing program with intent to obtain a license are eligible.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• None, or 1 year of acute care RN experience required for flexi positions.
