Job Summary The RN Manager serves as a pivotal leader responsible for the operational excellence and clinical quality of assigned nursing unit(s) on a 24-hour basis.

Key Responsibilities Oversee staff scheduling, time-off approvals, and resource allocation to support department needs.

Conduct performance evaluations and offer regular feedback and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth.

Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members to build a highly effective workforce.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance team engagement and retention, creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff, addressing concerns and assisting as needed to resolve issues.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices within the unit.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher)
Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing3 yrs or more of recent Nursing Leadership in an acute care hospital setting

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $ - $ annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Note:

If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
