Assistant Property Manager

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential building and assist with ground-floor commercial/retail leasing. This role works closely with management on tenant relations, leasing, maintenance coordination, compliance tracking, and property listings.

• Manage tenant communications (email, phone, and follow-ups).
• Coordinate maintenance requests with supers and vendors.
• Track work orders, repairs, and building issues.
• Assist with residential leasing, including applications and lease preparation.
• Prepare and manage property listings.
• Support commercial and retail leasing coordination.
• Maintain organized records, logs, and compliance documentation.
• Track payments and assist with financial reporting.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and lease renewals.

• Experience in property management, real estate, or leasing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to manage building operations effectively.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and process-driven.
