** what you get to do:
** the
** wine ambassador
** is responsible for educating guests and promoting wine to guests by conducting professional wine tasting experiences.
* conduct wine tastings while educating guests on the characteristics of the different wines, their history, region, etc.
* suggestively encourage the sale of a tasting, trio sampling, glass, or bottle sale.
* maintain wine inventory on sales floor and back stock notifying supervisor of needs for wines and production supplies.
* keep wine testing area clean and organized
* work in a fast paced environment with high guest interaction
** what it takes to succeed:
*** must be at least 21 years old
* high school diploma / ged preferred
* must be outgoing and professional, with the ability to become knowledgeable about wine, including sampling and learning characteristics of different wines, history, region, etc.
* must be able to remain standing for up to eight hours
* two full days of availability required
