Front Desk Attendant - Williamsburg Woodlands

Who We Are: Founded in 1926, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is a private, non‑profit educational, historic, and cultural institution that owns and operates one of the largest and best‑known museum complexes in the world. Compensation: $20.17 per hour

Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all front office functions including registration, cashiering, and information.
• Maintain a high standard of service and hospitality at all times.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Some front desk or guest relations experience preferred.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Full‑time position.
• Ability to handle cash and cash handling duties.
• Flexibility to work on short notice.
• Excellent public contact and organizational skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle guests’ complaints, work well under pressure, stand for long periods of time, act and react quickly in a professional manner, and handle paperwork efficiently.

• Perform heavy cleaning and high/low dusting.
• Transport objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Walk a great amount in all types of weather.
• Lifting, standing and bending up to 8+ hours daily.
