Location:

Williamsburg, VA

Salary: $25–$35/hour

• Lead and oversee commercial AV installation projects
• Train and mentor junior technicians on site
• Coordinate with sales engineers, project teams, clients, and contractors
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems and infrastructure
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client expectations
• Maintain professional communication and strong customer service throughout installations

• 5+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting commercial audio/video systems
• 3+ years leading AV installations or supervising technicians
• Experience with flat panel displays, projectors, structured cabling systems, 25/70‑Volt audio systems, video distribution systems, IP encoders, control systems, DSP systems, rack building and wire lacing, and cabling rough‑ins

• Experience or training with AVIXA / Info Comm CTS, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Legrand AV highly preferred

• Structured cabling experience
• Security/surveillance system experience
• Construction industry familiarity
• Computer and networking knowledge

• Own basic industry tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain DCJS licensing
• Comfortable working on ladders and using power tools safely
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitude
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt in fast‑paced environments
• Strong willingness to learn and grow within the industry
