Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly

We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Equipment Mechanic to join our team at our Williamsburg, VA site. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both mechanical and electrical installations and repairs as well as preventative maintenance to work on a wide variety of equipment contributing to zero down time and efficient plant operations.

Primary Responsibilities/Job Duties

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to compressors, polishers, coiling machines, manual and CNC machining equipment, electro-mechanical systems, light sources, forklifts, hydraulic systems, clean rooms, flow hoods, etc.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions
• Install new equipment and contribute to leasehold improvement projects
• Collaborate with the production teams to ensure all machinery and equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• General Facilities based duties as directed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Required Knowledge and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
• Proven experience in mechanical and electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to self-organize and work independently
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/overtime, as needed
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must be a U.S. Persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62.
