Warehouse Operations Specialist
Execute daily warehouse operations in support of Central Issue Facility (CIF) mission requirements.
Receive, inspect, store, issue, and reconstitute Infantry Combat Equipment (ICE) and related assets.
Support over-the-counter issue events, including sizing, fitting, and exchange of gear for military personnel.
Accurately record all transactions within the Government-provided Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Prepare items for shipment, transfer, or disposition in accordance with CIF and Government procedures.
Assist with cyclical, spot, and wall-to-wall inventories to maintain audit readiness and data integrity.
Identify damaged, expired, or unserviceable items and route them for repair, reconstitution, or disposition.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work spaces and storage areas.
Adhere to all security, safety, and Government property accountability requirements.
Provide professional, customer-focused support to service members and unit representatives.
Support surge operations during drill weekends, deployments, and reconstitution cycles.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations.
Experience in a government, military, or defense-support environment preferred.
Familiarity with handling high-value or controlled inventory is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow established procedures in regulated environments.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems.
Physical ability to lift, move, and handle equipment and boxed items safely.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability.
Professional customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Forklift certification required.
Public Trust clearance is required. Candidates must be eligible to maintain clearance throughout employment.
