Quality Engineer Intern

This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s).
- Reviewing customer contracts; responsible for requirements analysis, identification and definition
- Interfaces with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues
- Uses knowledge of inspection tools and techniques to define inspection requirements
- Participates in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, failure analysis
- Participates in design document reviews and assists in developing fabrication/build processes and standards
- Interfaces with internal organizations and systems in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering functions.
Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications. Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks. Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills.
