Equipment Operator – Front-End Wheel Loader
Job Summary
The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a front-end wheel loader to load, move, and organize materials in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role includes tracking material movement, performing daily equipment inspections and maintenance, and following all company safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate a front-end wheel loader to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Maintain accurate material flow and keep work areas organized.
- Complete pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, including fueling, greasing, and cleaning.
- Load trucks, railcars, and other equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license required. At least one year of experience operating a front-end wheel loader or similar heavy equipment. Experience in material handling, construction, recycling, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred. Ability to work safely in an outdoor industrial environment.
