+ $5,000 | 2-year commitment | Recent graduates and LPNs with 0-1 years of experience
+ $7,500 | 2-year commitment | LPNs with 1+ years of experience
Purpose:
Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.
Responsibilities:
+ Draw blood.
+ Administer medications, including oral, SQ, IM, and IV drip therapies.
+ Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
+ Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
+ Assess patients' general condition, including vital signs and weight.
+ Promote wellness through patient education and by communicating physician instructions and recommendations.
+ Document patient care activities, interventions, responses, and medications in the medical record.
+ Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and patient information.
+ Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those established by OSHA, CLIA, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
+ Occasionally travel to the Lewisburg office.
+ Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
+ Willing to travel to Lewisburg occasionally for clinic hours (3-4 times/year).
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
+ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP)
+ Current Pennsylvania nursing license, or a multistate license issued by an NLC participating state. Employees working on an out of state NLC license who later establish residency in Pennsylvania must apply for a PA Nursing license within 60 days of their residency change.
