Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Willimantic, Connecticut. Responsible for planning and delivering individualized instruction to elementary students with special needs. Earns up to $55 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education programs for elementary students
- Manage classroom activities and provide direct instruction to K-4 students
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff to enhance student success
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain clear communication with parents, administrators, and team members
- Connecticut Special Education Teacher License
- Minimum 1 year of experience in educational settings
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- Background check required
- Weekly direct deposit with next-day pay features coming soon, rates 13% above market average
