Embark on a fulfilling role as a BCBA in the lively town of Willimantic, CT. Known for its rich history, Willimantic offers attractions like the Willimantic Textile & History Museum and the Prospect Hill Historic District, perfect for leisurely exploration. The community prides itself on its vibrant cultural scene, with charming restaurants such as the renowned Willimantic Brewing Company providing local flair.
The position involves working in a K-12 educational setting, interacting with students of varying behavioral needs. Responsibilities include developing FBAs and BIPs, attending PPT meetings, and consulting with educational teams. This is a travel position, requiring visits to multiple locations within the area. You will work Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week, but note that compensation is for hours worked only—with no pay for school holidays or closures due to workshops or inclement weather.

Preferred Qualifications
• Current Certification as BCBA issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Active BCBA Certification in CT
• At least 1,500 hours of supervised field work
• Clear, articulate communication skills
• Ability to explain results to a varied audience
• Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
• Completion of a criminal record and background check
