Day-shift Registered Nurse (RN) — 8-week LTAC travel/contract assignment in Willingboro, NJ. Join a collaborative healthcare team delivering long-term acute care nursing and improving patient outcomes.

• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) — LTAC nurse / long-term acute care nurse role
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week)
• Schedule: Every 3rd weekend required
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract — travel nurse / contract nursing job

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (NJ RN)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience; LTAC, acute care, step-down, or med-surg experience preferred
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, documentation (EMR) and communication skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor licensed and unlicensed staff; charge nurse ability preferred

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a long-term acute care setting following individualized care plans
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission and ongoing reassessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, social work) to develop and implement care plans
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
• Initiate and participate in patient and family teaching, discharge planning, and transitions of care
• Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
• Assume charge responsibilities as needed after orientation and support a positive team environment
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical competency
