Overview

Position Title: Military & Family Readiness Center Administrative Support Specialist (TAP)

Division: 1HS.

Location: Minot AFB, ND.

Hourly Rate: $20.00-$25.00/hr.

Position Summary: One Health Solutions is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to support the U.S. Air Force Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC). This position provides front desk customer service and administrative support for the M&FRC and the Transition Assistance Program (TAP), serving Airmen, Guardians, and their families.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide front desk customer service support for the M&FRC, including greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, and responding to routine nontechnical inquiries.
  • Receive, screen and route phone calls, emails, & visitors to appropriate M&FRC staff based on knowledge of programs and services.
  • Perform TAP data entry & administrative support using AFFIRST, TAP ACCESS, & other government-provided automated systems.
  • Consolidate, summarize, and retrieve data from files and automated systems to support reports, inquiries, and program tracking requirements.
  • Establish, update, & maintain electronic and hard-copy office records in accordance with Air Force records management regulations.
  • Serve as the primary Record Custodian for the M&FRC, ensuring proper maintenance, purging, and disposition of records and files.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, & other office automation tools to create documents/spreadsheets/reports/charts, & presentations.
  • Prepare, proofread & edit recurring/non-recurring correspondence, reports, & other documents for accuracy, format, & compliance.
  • Review incoming/outgoing correspondence for accuracy, grammar, formatting, & completeness; identify discrepancies and advise appropriate staff.
  • Assist in developing training aids and provide hands-on assistance to office personnel on office automation tools and procedures.
  • Maintain automated calendars, suspense systems, and trackers; notify supervisors of conflicts or deadlines that cannot be met.
  • Manage office supply requisitions, printing support, and related administrative services.
  • Download, distribute, and maintain electronic publications, forms, and guidance in accordance with current policies.
  • Transmit and receive documents and correspondence electronically using networked computer systems.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of office automation systems and software issues encountered by staff.
  • Perform time and attendance support functions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned in support of M&FRC operations.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a DoD background investigation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) required.
  • Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and document formatting.
  • Experience performing clerical, administrative, customer service, or front desk duties preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using tact and courtesy.
  • Ability to organize, maintain, and manage records and files in accordance with established procedures.
  • Knowledge of Air Force terminology, programs, or military family support services preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands
  • Services are performed indoors at a government facility.
  • Work is primarily sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, and light lifting.
  • May be required to lift or carry office materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Work schedule is typically Monday–Friday during normal duty hours, excluding Federal holidays.
  • Position works under the general supervision of Government-designated M&FRC leadership.
