Position: AGRONOMY MANAGER

Fullerton Farmers Elevator Cooperative is seeking a results-driven Agronomy Manager to lead our agronomy operations in South Central North Dakota. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing agronomy sales, managing staff, and ensuring efficient, customer-focused service across fertilizer, crop protection, and seed programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow annual agronomy sales:
    • Fertilizer: 16,000 tons
    • Crop Protection Chemicals: $3 million
    • Corn and Soybean Seed: $3 million
  • Supervise and support a team of 2 agronomist/sales professionals
  • Hire required personnel to operate smoothly and efficiently
  • Coordinate and manage all custom application services
  • Develop strong customer relationships and provide agronomic expertise
  • Monitor inventory, pricing, and margins to ensure profitability
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in agronomy sales, operations, or management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, sales targets, and team performance
  • Knowledge of North Dakota cropping systems, especially corn and soybeans
  • CDL and/or custom applicator’s license a plus
