Position Overview

Adjunct Faculty – Biology (Minot AFB, ND). Teach BIOL
103 – Introduction to Biology on‑site with adult learners. This position is open until filled.

• Actively engage students and motivate them to succeed, conveying enthusiasm for learning.
• Guide students in collaboration and application of concepts through problem‑ and project‑based learning.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback using rubrics and acknowledge student accomplishments.
• Demonstrate current subject‑matter expertise and help connect concepts across the program.
• Provide feedback to the program chair on potential curricular improvements.

• Master’s degree in Biology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional experience in Biology, Natural Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
• Resume/Curriculum Vitae and cover letter required; international candidates must submit a translation/degree evaluation from a NACES‑approved vendor.

Must teach on‑site at Minot AFB, ND and successfully complete the online two‑week new faculty orientation (Fac Dev
411).

• Salary commensurate with experience, per credit hour.
