Role Overview
Adjunct Faculty – Finance & Economics at Minot Air Force Base, ND. Responsible for teaching the Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 201) on campus.
Responsibilities- Actively engage students through frequent interaction, encouraging learning and enthusiasm.
- Guide students in collaborative, problem‑ and project‑based learning demonstrations.
- Provide rich, regular constructive feedback using rubrics to assess student work and recognize achievements.
- Demonstrate current subject‑matter expertise and help students connect concepts across the program.
- Provide feedback to the program chair on potential curricular improvements.
- Educational:
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution. - Professional experience in Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education (highly preferred).
- Preferred:
Terminal degree in Finance or Economics and Certified Management Accountant certification.
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae.
- Cover Letter (highly preferred). International degree holders may need a translation or degree evaluation from an NACES‑approved vendor.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Salaries per credit hour vary by rank and degree. For example, an Instructor with a non‑terminal degree earns approximately $806 to $1,050 per credit hour.
