Horizontal Directional Drilling Locator

• One year experience as a horizontal directional drilling locator
• High school diploma
• Class A commercial drivers license
• Must be able to read and understand engineered plans and drawings
• Must be able to demonstrate a good safety record
• Must be able to work in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills
• Must have strong communication skills while under pressure

• Will locate the drill head using a F5 locator and communicate the position to the drilling operator
• Will instruct drilling operator during drilling operations to accomplish successful results
• Will assist in maintaining and cleaning drilling equipment
• Will assist in assembly of back reaming materials
• Will analyze plans of job specifications
• Will work in a crew environment taking direction from others
• Will be required to work extra hours including nights and weekends as workload dictates
• Will travel and have temporary assignments to any location for the duration of the project
• Will work outdoor in a variety of weather extremes
• Must be willing to perform any other duties assigned
• Will be required to complete and pass random DOT required drug tests
