- Operate pumping equipment including electric, diesel, gas and/or automatic pumps; control equipment and systems to ensure their safe, economical and efficient operation; and route water products through pipelines at main-line or terminal stations according to instructions at destination.
- Represent the Company in a professional manner.
- Conduct job tasks in a safe, healthy and environmentally cautious manner.
- Wear all required PPE and follow safety equipment and procedures.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it operates proficiently in compliance with regulatory and environmental agencies.
- Turn valves to start engines to pump water through stations and read flow and pressure meters; adjust valves to vary pumping rate and line pressure per specifications.
- Move water through stations by turning hand wheels or directing electric drives; operate pipelines to open or close valves to direct flow of oil or water and switch water to alternative pipelines to prevent contamination between grades.
- Inspect pumping equipment for malfunctions or leaks.
- Lubricate machinery and perform repairs and adjustments as needed with hand tools.
- Record pressures, temperatures, and flow rates; maintain records of oil stock and receipts.
- May pump natural gas or natural gas liquids products; may gauge tanks to test oil; may use radiotelephone equipment.
- Sample and test water and/or wastewater to ensure no hazardous materials are present.
- Monitor hourly readings and complete required daily paperwork and reports in a timely, accurate and legible manner.
- Maintain contact with SCADA dispatch or supervisor for instructions.
- Perform visual inspections of equipment and comply with OSHA safety rules for all personnel at the work site.
- Maintain proper cleanliness of the work area and assist other Operators when needed.
- Promptly report all work incidents to Company personnel including Supervisor, Dispatch, Management and HSE Representative.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with oil and gas operations, pipeline operations and UIC wells.
- Knowledge of general water piping systems, pumps, motors, valves, meters and related equipment preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment fitness for duty test (FIT test).

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Exposures- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
- Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
- Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
