Williston, ND
Salary: 5,403 to 7,243 per month (Engineering I II III)
Employment:
Full‑time, Regular, Professional (FLSA)
- Manage small and medium construction projects, and serve as the main inspector on large projects.
- Monitor contractor operations and ensure each project is built according to the plans and specifications.
- Design projects and prepare plan documents for district‑designed projects.
- Inspect large projects, fill in for project engineers when absent.
- Conduct bridge inspections, preliminary surveys, bridge deck evaluations, construction survey and materials testing.
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another applicable engineering degree.
- Four years of professional‑level engineering work experience.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, as specified by the Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Class D driver’s license required for travel to meetings and project locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another applicable engineering degree.
- Two years of professional‑level engineering work experience.
- Eligibility to write the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, as specified by the Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
- Class D driver’s license required for travel to meetings and project locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or another applicable engineering degree.
