SUMMARY:
The Field Service Tech II, Frac performs chemical treatment of oil wells and is the primary field representative to assist and answer customer questions or concerns.
JOB DUTIES:
Manage chemical inventory and transfer to and from location
Set up and rig down frac equipment
Calibrate pumps and flowmeters to ensure accurate chemical injection and reporting
Manage pumps, chemical lines, totes, rates and pressures
Communicate issues and questions to immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough manner
Interact with customer and other field personnel to answer questions and resolve issues
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot field equipment in support of chemical treatment programs
Collect and record data and on occasion present to company man or well site supervisor
Submit paperwork upon completion of frac Understand and perform inventory transfers (in/out)
Knowledge of valve and well pressures while on oilfield locations
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization in yard and field operations
Demonstrates advanced competency in chemical injection and site leadership; mentors Service Tech I personnel.
Maintain company property in good order (equipment, tools, computer, phones, trucks, etc.)Other duties as may be assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS &
EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION High school diploma or GED QUALIFICATIONS Basic mathematical skills
Possess and maintain a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Company policy. EXPERIENCE No experience required PREFERRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS &
EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION No education preference QUALIFICATIONS Frac equipment used in oil and gas operation
Understanding of fundamental chemical properties (oil/water solubility)
Experience in, and competent knowledge of, chemical treatment process
