The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Williston, ND. This position leads the planning, design, and execution of oilfield projects, coordinating technical activities from concept through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project plans and schedules, preparing engineering documentation, reviewing designs and specifications, and providing hands-on technical guidance during field implementation. The Senior Project Engineer collaborates closely with operations, field crews, and clients to ensure safety, quality, and budget adherence, while proactively identifying and resolving technical and operational issues.
The role also involves monitoring project performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers and project staff.
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to apply technical expertise to complex field operations.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and interact clearly with clients and field personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience in oilfield or industrial projects.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, or heavy industrial environments, with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with engineering and project management tools (e.g., CAD software, scheduling software, and standard office applications).
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and make data-driven decisions under field conditions.
- Willingness to work on-site in Williston, ND, including occasional extended hours and field visits as project needs require.
