Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer / Commercial Lender to join a growing commercial banking team in Williston, North Dakota. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing a commercial loan portfolio while performing underwriting and credit analysis functions internally.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy relationship banking, credit analysis, and working in a collaborative community banking environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an assigned commercial loan portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong business client relationships
- Analyze commercial loan requests and assess credit risk
- Perform underwriting, financial analysis, and cash flow analysis
- Structure commercial loan deals and prepare credit presentations
- Monitor existing loan relationships and portfolio performance
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and banking regulations
- Collaborate with internal banking teams to support client needs
- Participate in business development and community relationship activities
- 4-10 years of experience in commercial banking, commercial lending, underwriting, or credit analysis
- Strong understanding of:
- Commercial lending
- Credit analysis
- Financial statement analysis
- Cash flow analysis
- Loan structuring
- Experience managing or supporting commercial loan portfolios
- Ability to independently underwrite and evaluate commercial credit opportunities
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Compensation will depend on experience level and lending background
- Annual Performance Bonus:
