Western Cooperative Credit Union's Williston Main Branch has a position opening for a Consumer Loan Officer. This position is Full Time getting 40 hours per week. Hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Final date to receive applications is on or before Friday, July 17th, 2026.

Serve as a liaison between the member and the credit union.
Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for consumer loans by performing the following duties.
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Interviews applicant to determine consumer loan requirement and gather pertinent information for loan application.
- Requests applicant credit reports, proof of employment, and other information pertinent to loan applicant's evaluation.
- Analyzes applicant financial status, credit, and asset evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan.
- Resolves uncertainties relating to consumer application information through inquiries with applicant or creditors.
- Approves loan within specified limits or refers loan to loan committee for approval.
- Compiles loan package and facilitates negotiation of loan product with applicant, including pricing, loan term, collateral needs, loan repayment options, and other credit terms.
- Communicates effectively to all necessary parties to facilitate the closing and completion of loan documents and maintains the confidentiality of all loans.
- Develops a strong working knowledge of all consumer lending regulations and credit union loan policies and procedures.
