13-week Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) assignment working flexible 8-hour shifts. The CMA will support providers and nursing staff by assisting with patient intake, clinical procedures, documentation, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, obtaining patient histories and vital signs, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requirements:
Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience Current BLS certification Experience with patient intake, vital signs, and clinical documentation Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting Client Details Setting LTC City Williston State ND Unit Details Procedures Room patients, obtain vital signs and medical histories, prepare patients for examinations, assist providers with minor procedures, administer medications and injections within scope of practice, perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing as applicable, document patient information in the EMR, coordinate appointments and follow-up care, maintain exam room cleanliness and supplies, and ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and clinic protocols.
