Overview

At Booz Allen, we build technology to support logistics and supply chain modernization for federal agencies. We look for an ILMS Solution Architect, Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Translate customer IT needs and future goals into plans by crafting architecture products, design specifications, and requirements.
  • Transform client technology usage, including cloud migration, integration of advanced technology, and modernization of legacy ILMS modules.
  • Mentor developers and shape the digital solutions business, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Lead the implementation of logistics workflows, data governance, identity management, and security controls.
Requirements
  • 7+ years as a solution architect, technical lead, or systems engineer.
  • 3+ years supporting State Department ILMS.
  • Experience with State Department ILMS modules (Asset Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Diplomatic Pouch and Mail, or Fleet).
  • Experience developing technical architectures for logistics workflows, data governance, identity management, and security controls specific to State Department systems.
  • Experience translating State Department mission and bureau requirements into technical roadmaps, design artifacts, and executable implementation plans.
  • Knowledge of ILMS workflow processes, including asset management, logistics routing, shipping, warehouse operations, and procurement lifecycle steps.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or IT.
Preferred
  • Experience with ILMS modernization, cloud redesign, or data migration activities.
  • Experience with federal IT stack platforms (Oracle, SAP, Ariba, .NET, SQL Server, or AWS Gov Cloud).
  • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800‑53, Zero Trust).
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Master’s degree.

Security Clearance
