What You’ll Do- Assess infrastructure across Windows, Linux, AIX, and Solaris environments to determine migration readiness and dependencies.
- Design and recommend cloud migration strategies (e.g., rehost, replatform, refactor) tailored to business needs and technical constraints.
- Plan and execute migrations to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).
- Automate deployment and configuration using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Cloud Formation).
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance, security, and cost‑efficiency post‑migration.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with standards.
- Document migration plans, runbooks, and best practices to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience migrating applications and infrastructure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong experience with virtualization and server operating systems including Windows Server, Linux, AIX, and Solaris.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Power Shell, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or Cloud Formation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Familiarity with networking, security best practices, and cloud governance frameworks.
