Technical Targeting Trainer
The opportunity focuses on training analysts in vulnerability analysis, network mapping, RF engineering, exploitation, and related areas. The role involves designing and delivering hands-on curricula, guiding students through network-based analysis tools and real-world threat emulation in a live-tissue lab environment, and mentoring a growing team to develop instructional and operational solutions for classified customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver hands-on technical curricula for offensive cyber topics, including exploitation, network analysis, and RF/5G infrastructure mapping.
- Guide students on selecting attack vectors, targeting methodologies, and aligning target vulnerabilities with capabilities.
- Lead and mentor junior to mid-level target analysts, bridging complex network theory and tactical execution.
- Emulate real-world threat environments in live-tissue labs and leverage advanced SIGINT, protocol analysis, and forensic tools to analyze RF environments and target development.
- Collaborate with defense and intelligence learners to inform national security missions and support classified customers.
- Expand personal technology base and tool knowledge while developing creative instructional and operational solutions.
- 7+ years of experience in technical targeting as a Target Development Network Analyst (TDNA), Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA), or Exploitation Analyst (EA)
- 7+ years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community in a tactical or strategic targeting role
- 5+ years of experience executing collection, analysis, or targeting on both Radio Frequency (RF) and network-based target sets
- 5+ years of experience teaching or mentoring junior to mid-level target analysts
- Ability to be a self-starter and design courses and mentor without clear guidance
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience teaching or mentoring junior to mid-level target analysts
- 10+ years of experience in curriculum design and delivery
- 10+ years of experience in RF, Cyber, or a related technical or analytic field
- Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Technology, or Education;
Master’s degree in a related field (preferred; a plus)
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary and benefits are determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range is $99,000 to $225,000 (annualized USD).
