OverviewThe Senior Product Support Engineer for Government provides technical support for the U.S. public‑sector Adobe customer base. The role handles technical issues, ensures successful customer setup, and works with Adobe Support and Engineering teams to improve products for government customers.
Responsibilities- First point of contact for customer technical concerns.
- Advocate for customers and represent their needs with internal product and engineering teams.
- Provide responses and resolutions within established Service Level Agreement guidelines.
- Understand customer priorities and how technical issues impact their business.
- Provide proactive issue status updates to required parties.
- Troubleshoot and qualify cases before advancing to Engineering.
- Answer product functionality and usage questions.
- Resolve implementation problems.
- Create product content (KB articles, whitepapers, forum participation).
- Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions to reduce recurring issues.
- Expand understanding of Adobe products through enablement sessions and collaboration with other Technical Support Engineers.
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security clearance is required.
- Geographically located for daily commuting to Tysons, Virginia.
- Experience in customer care or support.
- Windows/Linux server knowledge including installation, administration, upgrading, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical knowledge of Java application servers and relational databases.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Appreciation of government security controls and related IT requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Adobe products such as Adobe Experience Manager and PDF forms is desired.
- Experience with cloud deployments such as AWS or Azure is appreciated.
Compensation depends on U.S. geographic markets. The pay range for this position is $97,300 – $180,050 annually. Pay may vary by location and qualifications.
