Description
Assists in operating drilling equipment and other duties as assigned by the Rathole Team Leader. This role requires understanding rigging and safe operation of rigging equipment, performing maintenance and cleaning tasks, ensuring quality and safety, and relocating rigs between sites.
Responsibilities- Fully understands rigging and the safe operation of rigging equipment.
- Performs and assists with maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.
- Is responsible for the quality of work performed and personal safety.
- Performs rig relocation following established procedures from site to site.
- Wears required personal protective equipment.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the team leader.
Skills & Knowledge: 0-1 year experience; proficient written and verbal communication; strong leadership and quality skills; understands importance of leading by example; ability to multi‑task; works closely with fellow employees; thorough knowledge of safety and work standards.
Minimum Qualifications: Complete all Noble and industry‑specific training. CDL is a plus but not required.
Physical DemandsWork type:
Sedentary work includes standing/walking 6‑8 hours, occasional sitting, and occasional driving.
- Light Duty:
Lifting of 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 10 pounds. - Medium Duty:
Lifting of 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 25 pounds. - Heavy Work:
Lifting of 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 pounds or more.
Average vision; average hearing; color discrimination; peripheral vision; depth perception.
Driver CriteriaThis is our preferred guideline for insured drivers. Individual exceptions may be considered to some degree.
- One or more Type A violation(s) in a 60‑month period.
- Two or more Type B violation(s) in a 36‑month period.
- Three or more Type C violation(s) in a 36‑month period.
- One Type B and two Type C violations in a 36‑month period.
- Type D violations (e.g., illegal parking, equipment violations) are non‑moving violations but may be considered individually.
