Senior Contracts Manager – Defense
Serve as the Senior Contracts Manager within Booz Allen Hamilton's Defense business supporting the Navy, Army, and other DoD components. Lead a high-energy, dynamic contracts team and report directly to the Director of Global Defense. Coordinate contract functions with a focus on acquisition client relationship management, terms and conditions, proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation across program types including systems development, product sales, technical and professional services, and fixed-price engagements.
Provide expert advice on contractual matters, contract strategy, regulatory compliance, corporate policy, conflict of interest mitigation, and risk management. Interface with senior leadership, program managers, and contracting officers to address issues during capture, proposal development, contract negotiation, execution, or completion. Develop a strategic vision for the Booz Allen contracting team, growing capabilities and offerings to meet business objectives while responding to client requirements and industry trends.
Lead a team of 18 contract professionals.
- 10+ years of contract management experience, including overseeing large, complex proposals, negotiations, and administration for DoD contracts.
- 8+ years of experience managing a dispersed team.
- Experience negotiating commercial and government contracts.
- Experience as a business advisor or key functional integrator, aligning people, processes, and systems to support clients.
- Knowledge of federal supplemental regulations such as FAR and DFARs.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with acquisition clients within Navy and Army contracting centers.
- Experience with FAR Part 12 contracting.
- Experience managing complex product and solution sales.
- Top Secret clearance.
$ – $ annualized USD (announced compensation range).
