Job Description Role and Responsibilities
The first responsibility is to warmly welcome customers to BDS and model our professional, service-oriented business culture while providing them with the highest quality of service, and product knowledge that is possible. Shop Techs are required to master basic and advanced skills in processes, technique, assemblies, install, and technical evaluation procedures. Shop Techs are required to inspect, assemble, test, repair, and paint / clean various surface components (Frac, Production and Drilling Equipment) to specific verbal and written guidelines in the shop environment.
The ability to inspect and identify and correct flawed equipment in a timely manner based on a written procedure while ensuring the company’s specifications as well as the standard of company and industry standards are met without exceptions.
Accurately and honestly complete and submit paperwork associated with job task daily duties; (JSA, Safety Docs, FST, FNCR, REQ, Timecards, etc.) in the set amount of time. Report any non-compliance of procedural action immediately to Supervisor or HR. Labeling or stamping equipment in the proper manner.
MaintenanceTeam members are responsible for and required to inventory, maintain, and log all assets, both inventory and company owned, e.g., shop tooling, vehicles and related items.
CommunicationEvery BDS team member must have the ability to communicate with team members, customers, vendors, and the community in both written and verbal documentation. Assist other team members in daily activities and job‑related tasks approved by the Quality & Production Team.
SafetyTeam members are required to perform their job duties in the safest way possible with a 100% accident‑free, 100% incident‑free target goal.
RepresentativeAll Bulldog Services LLP team members as acting representatives are required to professionally present, uphold, and solidify the representation and respect of our motto, “Restoring Principles & Integrity One Connection at a Time” at all times.
Physical RequirementsFrequent standing and lifting, 95% shop environment, 3% yard, 2% office.
Other Required ResponsibilitiesLifting of equipment must be done in a manner in accordance with the company safety manual (max 50 lbs), review staged jobs before loading, operate forklift (only if you have current forklift training certification), overhead crane operation, operate testing equipment, rigging, each of which will be completed in accordance with current training and Bulldog Services Safety Manual.
OtherClothing items promoting or suggesting nonbusiness related propaganda are not allowed. Team members will conform to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by BDS in compliance with OSHA regulations and directives. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for oneself and others by following any and all posted and non‑posted safety guidelines. Non‑posted guidelines are found in the BDS safety manual.
Hoursof Operation
Monday through Sunday, 24/7 during your on‑call scheduled days on tower; this is a 24‑hour on‑call tower position. Employees are required to complete any pertinent duties by the end of the job if at all possible. Days off call are worked based on a basic day of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm depending on workload.
