Diesel Rolling Stock Mechanics

Diesel Rolling Stock Mechanics are sought for a plant-based role in North Dakota. This position involves maintaining and repairing a variety of facility vehicles and equipment, including work on fishing vessels as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, be comfortable working in challenging conditions, and possess a solid safety mindset.

- 3+ years’ experience as a port engineer or rolling stock mechanic preferred
- Knowledge of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and metal fabrication

- Willingness to work in remote Alaska and in a seafood processing plant for several months
- Ability to work long hours, seven days a week, during production seasons
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with extended boom forklifts and cranes
- Previous work as a port engineer
