Job Summary And Responsibilities
As our Cardiac Rehab RN at CHI Williston Health, you will be a pivotal caregiver, guiding patients through critical cardiac recovery and empowering them and their families with life-changing support and education.
Every day you will expertly assess complex cardiac conditions, meticulously monitor patient progress, and collaborate seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team to optimize healing and long-term wellness plans, ensuring no two days are alike.
To be successful in this role, you will combine acute assessment skills and an adaptable, detail-oriented approach with a compassionate drive to go the extra mile, shaping enduring positive health outcomes for every patient.
Responsibilities- Perform assessment of patient’s health and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, and take action as necessary, and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
- Respond to life‑saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
- Implement exercise regimen and evaluate the patient’s response to care and document
- Work collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
- Provide patient and family education
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
- Experience as a Cardiac RN
