Overview
This position will assist our Bakery Department by creating and decorating delicious bakery products including cakes, pastries, and cookies, and ensuring bakery cases are fully stocked with fresh, appealing products. The Cake Decorator is responsible for delivering continuous guest service, ensuring quality and freshness of bakery products, attracting guests with appealing displays and freshly prepared product samples, and understanding health, safety and sanitation regulations.
The position may perform back-up duties in the absence of the Bakery Department Manager.
- Create and decorate bakery products (cakes, pastries, cookies).
- Maintain fresh, appealing product displays and ensure bakery cases are stocked.
- Provide exceptional guest service and engage guests through product samples and suggestive selling.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with back-up duties in the absence of the Bakery Department Manager.
