Starting Pay $21.25 - $23.03 (DOE)
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
1. Responsible for a float (bank) that must always be kept in balance.
2. Responsible for making buys to replenish the bank so the proper level is maintained.
3. The Lead Cashier will assist in the supervisor duties such as reading the diary daily, making sure attendance cards are updated, complete jackpot checks so that the supervisor needs only to sign, and other Supervisor responsibilities.
4. Responsible for the security of the cage and will prevent access by an unauthorized person.
5. The Lead Cashier is personally accountable for any shortage or overage in his or her bank at the end of the shift.
6. The Lead Cashier will assist in the balancing of Cashier’s impress banks.
7. Ensure that the cages do not accumulate any excess coins, chips, notes, or vouchers.
8. Oversee credit card and check transactions.
9. Responsible for all aspects of the cashiering operation throughout the duration of the shift.
10. Responsible for logging and maintaining Title 31 compliance accurately.
11. Responsible for assisting with the training and scheduling of staff.
12. May be required to assist with other slots-related duties from time to time.
13. Is professional, polite, friendly, and helpful, always giving the guest the highest possible standard of service.
14. Required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training purposes.

PREREQUISITES General:
Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Key-Gaming license.

Education:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. At least one-year post-secondary education or business administration or another applicable curriculum. Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.

Experience:

Posses basic Math skills and can handle money accurately. Minimum one year’s experience in a high volume, fast paced cashiering environment. Bank teller experience preferred.

Physical:
Requires bending, finger dexterity, grasping, standing and/or walking for periods of up to four hours with no break, must be able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly and requires normal (or corrected to normal) visual acuity.
