Job Overview
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing long-term customer relationships within your assigned territory. This position requires proactive engagement with customers and close collaboration with internal teams to achieve and exceed annual sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Growth: Lead sales efforts for reciprocating products, services, and parts, with a focus on reciprocating engines and compressors.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with both current and prospective customers to understand their business needs.
- Solution Promotion: Present and communicate innovative technologies and solutions that address customer operational challenges.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to meet growth and revenue targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical sales support to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics (or a comparable CRM).
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time within the assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of oilfield, production facilities, and compression operations.
- Hands-on experience with reciprocating compressors and engines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain customer relationships.
- Results-driven, with a leadership style focused on empowerment and continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (Dynamics or equivalent).
- Commitment to safety, high-quality service, and teamwork.
- Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
