Product Support Specialist Representative; PSSR

OVERVIEW:

The Product Support Sales Representative (PSSR) will be responsible for improving the business success of our customers through face-to-face contact and knowledge of their operation and needs. The primary objective of the PSSR is to build relationships and establish a true partnership that will make our customers more successful by anticipating and/or recognizing their needs and supplying parts, small equipment and setting up service for their equipment.

This position will be based out of Minot, ND.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the coverage, retention, development, and customer satisfaction within your assigned territory

Responsible for selling parts, service, and small whole goods within your assigned territory

Utilize CRM program to track customer visits, prepare quotes, and organize time

Work with the PSSR Manager to develop territory and promote General Equipment & Supplies Work with parts department, service department and territory salesman to keep customers up and running efficiently

Identify new customers within assigned territory to promote GES growth

Perform the necessary functions required for machine or equipment service and/or parts quotes (i.e. undercarriage evaluations, G.E.T evaluations, fit ups, record keeping, and recommendations)
Attend educational and training programs covering company policies, department objectives, products services and programs, professional salesmanship and personal growth

Responsible for keeping accurate expense records and submitting them weekly

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, service, heavy construction or product support

An above average computer comfort level and willingness to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM program and GES business software

Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record

Must have a positive mental attitude

Must have excellent customer service skills, both internal and external customers

Be personable, highly motivated, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to all forces around them, customers, suppliers, coworkers, and manufacturers

Attain short and long-term objectives through good time management and planning

Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills
