MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* High school education or GED equivalency.
* Requires good communication skills (written and verbal), troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
* Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Must be legally authorized to work in United States, no sponsor ships considered.
* Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
* Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
* Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong working-knowledge of natural gas properties and equipment.
* Very good computer and record keeping skills.
* Knowledge and experience performing and working with line locating, grading leaks, and atmospheric corrosion and leak survey processes and equipment with internal company programs, etc.
* Highly motivated self-starter with excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to exceed the needs of the customer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Locates underground company facilities (line locating).
* Surveys and inspects for corrosion and leaks, including grading of identified leaks.
* Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Journeyperson Wage - $38.37
