Heavy Equipment / Backhoe Operator - CDL Preferred
MP Nexlevel, LLC, a leader in the utilities construction industry, is looking for Skilled Backhoe Operators. An Operator should possess a fundamental understanding of construction and be able to operate different construction equipment and tools including skid steers, excavators, and backhoes.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, excavators, tampers, jackhammers, drills, saws and other construction machinery.
- Perform daily maintenance – grease, oil and basic repairs of equipment.
- Hand dig around existing utilities when necessary.
- Carry and load materials for use on the job.
- Assist in hauling equipment to and from job site.
- Clean and restore work area, wash and clean vehicles and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and practices and complete required safety training.
- Report any equipment repairs needed to Foreman or Supervisor.
- Assist in light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- File paperwork and maintain records as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid DOT Health Card.
- Class A Driver’s License (CDL).
- Physically fit to endure daily activity involved with the job.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
