Pipe Yard Technician SummaryReports to the Pipe Yard/Bulk Plant Manager and Operations Manager. The pipe yard technician will be responsible for safely moving and handling pipe within the pipe yard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Loading and unloading pipe
- Maintains Good Communication
- Ensures Tools/Equipment/Spare Parts for Jobs are Loaded and Available on Truck
- Repair and Maintenance
- Complies with Company Rules and Regulations
- Required to safely perform duties within the pipe yard
- Responsible for conducting visual inspections of pipe
- Responsible for accurate tallying of pipe
- Available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs
- Communicates with supervisor and trucking personnel
- Operates loader safely and efficiently
- Other duties as assigned by District Manager or Supervisor

Competencies- 1-2 years related experience operating a loader
- CDL preferred
- Must be proficient with written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and quality skills
- Understands importance of leading by example
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work without supervision
- Can work closely with fellow employees
- Thorough knowledge of safety and work standards
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the ability to handle high priority projects safely and efficiently and have completed all Noble and industry specific training.
Education and/or ExperienceA minimum of 1 year of experience operating a loader. CDL preferred but not required.
Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills including all Microsoft Office software and the capability to learn and utilize new software.
