Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Williston, ND. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in oil and gas facilities, following all safety regulations and company standards. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, performing wiring and conduit work, testing systems, and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimize downtime. The role involves conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and documenting work performed in compliance with industry codes and company procedures.

The Electrician will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and field crews to support project execution, respond to service calls, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge of electricity, including electrical principles and safe work practices.
  • Hands-on experience in electrical work, such as installation, wiring, and working with industrial electrical systems.
  • Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment, with the ability to perform preventive and corrective tasks.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical problems, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with basic electrical engineering concepts relevant to industrial and oil and gas environments.
  • Completion of an approved electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience; journeyman or master electrician license preferred.
  • Knowledge of NEC and relevant local electrical codes, as well as OSHA and industry safety standards.
  • Ability to work in field conditions, including varying weather, and to safely use tools, ladders, and test equipment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with supervisors, engineers, and other trades.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States.
