About the Role:
Ruach Resources is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to keep our truck fleet on the road: front-discharge mixers, semis, dump trucks, side dumps, belly dumps, and trailers. You'll work in our new, fully outfitted, heated shop on a fleet that includes brand-new Oshkosh mixers and 2027 Peterbilts and Kenworths. You'll be home every night, with no travel. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in keeping trucks rolling and isn't afraid of real engine work.

Ready‑mix doesn't wait. When a mixer is down, a pour is at risk and a customer is counting on us. Our shop takes pride in turning trucks around fast. Sometimes that means a smart fix to get a truck back out today while parts are on backorder, then coming back to do the permanent repair. We need someone who's resourceful, stays calm under pressure, and would rather find a way than wait for perfect conditions.

Tell us straight what the risk is, and help us make it work. Brakes and anything DOT‑critical get done right, every time, because our drivers share the road with everyone else.

We're one maintenance team, not a truck shop versus a field crew. When a loader or dozer comes in for a big repair, our truck mechanics may be asked to help out, and the heavy equipment side does the same when the truck shop is slammed.

• Semis & Dump Trucks: Peterbilt 567, 589, 389 & 379

• Service & Support: Crane service trucks, pickups, and a yard dog

• Brakes, air systems, hoses, and suspension repair
• Oil changes, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspections
• Tire and wheel service
• Electrical diagnostics and repair
• A/C diagnosis and charging
• Windows, glass, and general body repairs
• Engine work, from injectors and water pumps up to in-frame overhauls when needed
• Pitch in on heavy equipment repairs in the shop when the team needs a hand
• Keep accurate service records in our fleet software (Fleetio)
• Work with drivers and dispatch to keep downtime low

• Experience working on heavy trucks, trailers, or diesel equipment
• Solid diesel engine experience; comfortable doing real engine work, not just parts swaps
• Solid diagnostic skills, so you find the problem instead of guessing with parts
• Resourceful problem‑solver who can get trucks back on the road with what's on hand
• Dependable and a clear communicator
• Valid driver's license
• Front‑discharge mixer experience is rare up here, so we'll train the right person. If you know it, even better.
• CDL, welding, or hydraulics experience a plus
• Newer to the trade but hungry to learn? We also hire shop support starting at $26–$30/hr, with a path to mechanic as your skills grow.

• Staggered shifts, so both early birds and later starters fit. In summer, the early shift can start as early as 4–5am and the later shift can run until 8pm. Winter shifts are more regular hours.
• Saturday half days are available year‑round depending on workload. Let us know your preference, whether you want the extra hours or would rather keep your weekends.
• Steady, year‑round work, with reduced hours in winter.
