Part Time Dispatcher

Dispatcher ORGANIZATIONAL INTENT

Dispatch (& assist the "Order Taker" for scheduling) drivers for ready-mix and aggregate services from all RR batch plants and aggregate sources.

• Ensure trucks are inspected and maintained including documentation for both pre-trip and post-trip. Communicate any issues and needed maintenance to the maintenance/shop supervisor.
• Monitor personnel and equipment locations to coordinate service and schedules.
• Manage work schedules for subordinates, including accountability for clocking in and out.
• Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for material, service, or equipment.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of ready-mix and aggregate trucks.
• Conduct accident investigations and reports as needed.
• Provide accountability and remedial training as necessary for truck drivers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure efficient planning and execution of jobs.
• Maintain a and safe work environment in Ruach Resources vehicles and facilities.
• Assist with other operational and administrative duties as assigned.

• Able to learn Jonel dispatch system and Coretex tracking system.
• Working knowledge of leadership and management techniques, strategic thinking and planning, resource allocation, and coordinating resources and people.
• Understand applicable laws and government regulations.
• Conflict resolution.
• Active listening.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Sound judgement and decision making.

Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.

• Monday – Saturday (minimum of 40 hours per week)
