Williston, ND. Salary: $20.22 per hour. Position:
Temporary, full-time, non‑exempt. A valid Class D driver’s license with a satisfactory record for the last five years is required. The driver’s license must be from the District, Williston Section, ND.
- Determine applicant identity, eligibility, and legal status for issuing Real , licenses, identification cards, and permits.
- Review medical information to establish license restrictions.
- Handle cash, collect license fee payments, and balance cash drawers for transaction processing.
- Conduct noncommercial driver testing in passenger vehicles to assess roadway safety competency.
- Administer ten separate knowledge examinations for roadway safety.
- Inspect vehicles in accordance with state law and safety requirements.
- Conduct tests for commercial driver license endorsements, restriction removal, and class upgrades.
- Perform driving tests with automobiles, motorcycles, buses, and trucks in all weather conditions, year‑round.
- Multi‑task at the front counter and make on‑spot decisions while customers wait, ensuring services are fulfilled promptly.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Class D driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record for the last five years.
- Applicants with alcohol‑related or reckless driving offenses will not be considered; other driving offenses will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Employment contingent upon completing the interview process, reference check, job function testing, and a criminal history record check.
Insurance is available at a reduced rate through the Affordable Care Act.
