Summary
Noble Trucking is seeking a Dispatcher to work in Williston, ND operations. Working a stable but demanding 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, you will act as the critical link between field supervisors, lease operators, and our transport drivers. This role requires high‑paced multitasking, a focus on strict DOT safety regulations, and the ability to optimize fleet efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receives telephone requests for services from customers and relays information to crews and field personnel.
- Dispatches drivers/crews to servicing assignments.
- Assigns vehicles according to factors such as length and purpose of trip, freight or other requirements, and preference of customer.
- Issues keys, record sheets, and credentials to drivers.
- Records time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return.
- Follow‑up with Drivers and Crew to ensure successful and timely arrival. Investigates overdue vehicles.
- Directs activities of drivers by two‑way radio.
- Confers with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or other issues.
- Maintains record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
- Establishes service or delivery routes.
- Prepares time reports and other records.
- Confers with customer regarding problems and outlines types of services available.
- Computes quantities of materials required and quotes prices for services.
- Refers customer inquiries regarding production problems or available services to sales personnel.
- Compiles list of available vehicles.
- Issues equipment to drivers.
- Assigns helpers to drivers.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
