- Assist with administrative and clerical duties to support alumni engagement and donor stewardship efforts.
- Monitor, administer, and moderate alumni-facing social media platforms to enhance engagement.
- Collaborate with the VTSU Institutional Advancement Database Manager to identify and resolve data continuity issues.
- Support the Assistant Director of Leadership Giving with prospect research, donor identification, qualification, and cultivation efforts.
- Provide administrative assistance to the IA team, utilizing software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant applications.
- Assist with constituent data archiving and storage processes.
- Perform additional departmental tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in fundraising, alumni relations, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with social media management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
