Position: Performance Creative Designer

If you’re a performance-minded creative designer who knows how to turn strategy into compelling paid media assets, we’d love to see your portfolio.

Build creative that converts.

As our Performance Creative Designer, you’ll create high-performing, conversion-focused ad creative across Food Science’s portfolio of science-backed wellness brands. In this role, you’ll blend strong visual design skills with performance marketing thinking to develop assets informed by hooks, messaging angles, creative strategy, and campaign data.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Design and produce conversion-focused creative assets across paid media channels, including static ads, carousels, and landing pages, ensuring alignment with campaign strategy, brand standards, and platform best practices.
  • Apply performance marketing principles such as hooks, angles, unique value propositions, problem-solution framing, A/B testing, and data-driven iteration to improve creative effectiveness and funnel performance.
  • Maintain creative diversity by delivering multiple ad concepts per week, targeted to distinct audiences.
  • Design landing pages in distinct formats for offers and messaging.
  • Leverage design and AI-assisted tools to rapidly create clean, modern, high-performing assets while continuously testing new workflows that increase output and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with performance marketing, media buying, clients, and internal stakeholders through proactive, responsive communication, clear status updates, and structured availability during core business hours to support real-time teamwork.
  • Manage multiple creative projects at once, thrive in a high-production environment while maintaining quality and speed, and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders to iterate quickly and deliver polished assets on deadline.
Join the Food Science team

At Food Science, you’ll be part of a company with nearly 50 years of commitment to quality, innovation, and scientific integrity in nutritional supplements for pets and people. Headquartered in Williston, Vermont, Food Science combines science-backed product development with a strong focus on brand growth, customer experience, and innovation.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners across Marketing, performance marketing, media buying, and internal stakeholders to bring campaigns and creative testing initiatives to life. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing design excellence with speed, iteration, and measurable impact.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic creative professional who is strategic, responsive, and excited to build performance-driven assets that help brands grow. You likely recognize yourself in the following:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, creative strategy, performance marketing, or a related digital marketing role.
  • Strong visual design skills with experience creating paid social creative for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, plus social-native short-form, vertical content for Instagram and Tik Tok.
  • Understanding of performance marketing principles and social advertising concepts, including hooks, messaging angles, testing frameworks, and conversion-focused creative strategy, with experience collaborating with a creative strategist or media buyer and the ability to interpret data and apply insights to optimize performance.
  • Proficiency in design tools and comfort using AI-assisted creative tools to improve speed, output quality, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-production, fast-paced, test-and-learn environment, maintaining quality while moving quickly with a strong bias for iteration, continuous improvement, and performance over perfect aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with a responsive, collaborative working style and the ability to manage multiple priorities and feedback effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered.
